What a great time we had on Saturday at Walkley Community Centre. Fantastic dancing particularly in the under tens category. Hopefully the event raised plenty of money for the Red Cross.

Hi everybody. As you may have heard, The Reluctants have had a bit of a parting of ways. There may well be a new Reluctants at some point in the future, (at which time I will remove this blog) but for now SOME OF US are continuing under the name:


SPANKY JOHNSON



You can expect the same energetic mix of Rock, Soul and silliness, (including the dancing draught excluder). You can expect most of the same friendly faces; and in addition you'll experienced tighter, funkier music and a fresher frequently upgraded set list. As if that wasn't enough you can also expect  soon to be revealed original SPANKY JACKSON material!


Next gig 19th December at The Fishpond Matlock Bath. Great pub, great beer, great punters. Come and join us.

Our Gig at The Fishbowl Matlock

Thanks Fishbowl, we had a great time, such a lovely venue. Pleasing that we helped raise money for the Chernobyl Children's Lifeline. Mike was missed.
